SBG State Election Poll - September 2026

We would like to thank everyone for voting in our Somerville State Election Poll.

We have closed the numbers off, and we had an overwhelming response of 630 votes or roughly 5% of the Somerville population.

We will follow up with the State election candidates for our seat of Hastings and see what they have to say.

We will also be holding a Hastings Candidates Election forum on Monday 16th November, 2026.

The results were-:

1. Potholes & Roads 297 votes - 47%

2. Fix the Roundabout 111 votes - 18%

3. Update the Reserve 64 votes - 11%

4. Cost of Living 53 votes - 8%

5. Law & Order 40 votes - 6%

6. Fix the Railway Station 20 votes - 4%

7. Financial mismanagement 15 votes- 2%

8. Western side of railway 13 votes - 2%

9. Corruption & integrity 12 votes - 1%

10. Business Incentives 5 votes - 1%
